A visit in Singapore won't be complete without checking out the bustling Bugis Street. It's the best place to get some retail therapy. With over 800 shops, you'll be sure to find what you need. Ranging from cheap, trendy clothing, to all kinds of foods, bags, accessories, watches, souvenirs, you name it, Bugis Street has it.

A Trip To The Maritime Experiential Museum & Aquarium (MEMA) in Singapore
During my 9-month stay in Singapore, I vowed to myself to visit a lot of tourist spots in the country. The Maritime Experiential Museum & Aquarium (MEMA) is definitely included in my list of places to visit. It just opened in October 15, 2011.

Johor Bahru Horse Riding Adventure
I've always wanted to try horseback riding. One day, I saw this great deal in Groupon.sg: $88 per pax for 1 Day Johor Bahru Horse Riding Adventure with Return Transport and Lunch (Worth $208) courtesy of Constantine Adventure & Travel. I didn't hesitate, I immediately bought the groupon and booked my trip.

Pizza... Pizza... Pizza...
I stuffed myself with pizza today. I wanted to indulge myself a bit and decided to visit a couple of pizza parlors. I was in the mood for some thin crust goodness, sprinkled with cheese, meat and hot sauce. I love pizza, it's one of my all-time favorite food. But the thing is, I can't eat every time I crave for it (which is pretty often), because I have to watch my weight. But since I'm in Singapore, I really didn't want to deprive myself of the opportunity to do some real pizza food trip, Singaporean style. So what the heck, I'll do it anyway.

Chinese Garden in Singapore: A Peaceful Refuge In The City
We had an afternoon to ourselves in Sunny Singapore, and what better way to spend it than to explore another tourist spot! It was around 5pm when we decided to visit the famed Chinese Garden in Jurong East. We've heard some nice things about this place, so we thought we'd see it for ourselves. I've already visited the Singapore Botanic Gardens, so it's time to check out the Chinese Garden.

Discovering Singapore's Discovery Centre
We prepared ourselves to discover Singapore's past, present and future as we paid a visit to the S'pore Discovery Centre. Part museum, part art gallery, and part science centre, the Singapore Discovery Centre is certainly one of a kind.

An Afternoon Of Learning At Science Centre Singapore
I spent 3 years of my education in a school devoted to the sciences. So you'd think I would be really interested in places like the Science Centre in Singapore. Well, you got that right! It's definitely one of the places that's high on my list of tourist spots to visit in Singapore. So one day, since I got nothing else to do, I hopped on the MRT along the green line and headed to Jurong East Station, which is the nearest station to the Science Centre Singapore.

East Coast Park: Cycling Under The Scorching Sun
When we planned on going biking at East Coast Park in Singapore, we didn't plan on sweating like pigs and getting tanned after just a few hours under the scorching sun. We were actually planning to go late in the afternoon, but it turned out we arrived at noon time when the sun was highest!

Biking And Some Alone Time In Pasir Ris Park
I wanted to try biking in one of Singapore's parks, so I searched online for a good park. I came across Pasir Ris Park. I looked up the location of the park and it was at the very end of the East West MRT Line. But the long commute didn't stop me from going, in fact I considered it as an adventure.

Exploring The Singapore Art Museum
I was walking along Queen Street, exploring Singapore on foot, and I saw that Singapore Art Museum was having an OPEN HOUSE in honor of Singapore Biennale 2011, an international art festival, so I thought, why not take advantage of the free admission? A little art appreciation wouldn't hurt, right? And boy, was I glad I did, because I actually really enjoyed the experience.

Hostel Hopping In Singapore
During our Singapore 2010 tour, we stayed in a total of 4 hostels. My dad thinks it's impractical to keep moving from one place to another because we had a lot of luggage to drag around. But I thought it was pretty cool to try different hostels in Singapore. My goal was to pick a hostel at different parts of the city. As it turned out, we stayed in one hostel in Arab Street District, one in Chinatown, one in Clark Quay, and one in Little India. So I'm listing here the 4 hostels we stayed in during the course of our stay in Singapore (5D/6N).
